GREEN INITIATIVES

& SUSTAINABILITY

Videopro holds a long-term commitment towards environmental sustainability. We acknowledge the importance of moving towards a low-carbon future and reducing activities that result in the emission of greenhouse gases. Whilst this journery is ever evolving, we are progressing towards a greener future via the following initiatives.

  • Videopro recently moved its headquarters into a new energy star rated facility at Eagle Farm. Our purpose-built facility has 100kW solar panels incorporated, reducing the daily consumption requirement from local power supply grids by 70%.

  • Our building complex captures and stores rainwater, with Videopro using three types of water (Potable, Non-Potable, Recycled) across our facility and operations as a more environmentally sustainable approach to water consumption.

  • We have purchased new printers that use less than a quarter of the energy Laser Printers use, with a goal to be 90% paperless by 2025.

  • Designing system solutions for a sustainable future is an objective of our Design Engineers. We seek out Energy Star rated products for integration into our system solutions.

  • We recycle general waste, bottles & platstics, toner cartridges, & e-waste. At a projects level, all our equipment packaging, cable off-cuts, & metal fixing off-cuts are recycled. Decommissioned equipment is repaired and donated to charity if suitable for use.

  • Videopro encourages ride sharing where multiple people are headed to the same location. We are also working on our new vehicle procurement strategy that will see minimum emission standards for all of Videopro’s fleet via the procurement of Electric Vans.
